A useful N2O product record identifies one exact item and the documents that belong to it. Begin with the complete product name, stated amount and any model or reference printed on the package. Similar colours, a familiar brand or a matching capacity are not enough to establish that two records describe the same item.
Keep label information separate from information copied from a listing. Record where each detail came from and when it was checked. If the label and listing disagree, mark the difference explicitly. Do not silently choose the version that seems more familiar or combine details from different products into one description.
Attach the current manufacturer information for that exact reference. Identify the document title, version or date where available. Distinguish an instruction supplied by the manufacturer from a general article or a saved search result. Keep older documents marked as superseded so a previous version is not mistaken for the current one.
Record package contents as their own field. An accessory visible in a photograph may not be included with the item. Keep confirmed contents, separately listed components and unresolved questions distinct. An incomplete record should show the gap rather than present an assumption as a verified specification.
Where a written confirmation or invoice exists, connect it to the same product reference and quantity. Store personal and business details in the appropriate private record. The product checklist can identify the relevant document without duplicating sensitive information in every copy or publishing it in a comment.
Finish with an open-questions section. Give each discrepancy a date, a responsible contact and a recorded outcome when it is resolved. Product identification does not establish permission for an unlabelled use: retain the manufacturer's intended-purpose and safety information, and do not inhale the product.
